  • I am not a student. Can I still book a room?

    Of course! Our apartments are not exclusively for students. We have many young professionals, entrepreneurs, servicemen, and women residing with us. Premier Properties is also committed to compliance with all federal, state, and local fair housing laws. We will not discriminate against any person because of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, familial status, disability, or any= other specific classes protected by applicable laws.

  • What is the minimum lease?

    Our leases are for the period of a year.

  • I am not transferring into the area, can I book in advance and how do I secure a room/bed?

    Of Course! You can definitely book an apartment in advance and move-in directly at arrival. It is very simple, you need to sign your lease electronically and pay a deposit, and your room will be secured and ready for you to move-in.


  • Does an application guarantee a spot?

    No, only a completed lease guarantees a spot, not an application.

  • Are the apartments furnished?

    No, our apartments are not furnished. You will get the basic appliance set upon moving in.

  • Are utilities included (electricity, water or sewage, and Wi-Fi)?

    There are no utilities included in the list price. All tenants are responsible for opening a PSE&G account for electric before moving in. Water is a flat monthly charge and it varies by building. Wi-Fi is not included in the rent but there is Wi-Fi available in some buildings common areas.

  • How do I pay security deposit and rent? Do I get the deposit back?

    The deposit is paid in advance by the deadline provided with a cashier’s check/money order. It is refundable at the end of the lease period if there are no damages to the room.

  • Do you offer low Affordable Housing?

    Our company does not have affordable housing but we will accept vouchers from Board of Family and Social Services, Veteran Affairs, New Brunswick Housing Authority, etc.

  • Can I pay my rent online? Will my roommates have their own portal?

    Yes we do have an online portal system and each tenant will have their own access to that portal. We highly encourage for tenants to make online payments through our portal.

  • Can I tour the apartments?

    We do have an open house during the Fall and Spring. If you missed those dates, we do not show apartments to anyone unless they come to the office and qualify first. This is out of respect for our current tenant’s privacy. If a unit is advertised for immediate, it means it’s vacant and we can schedule a tour in those instances.

  • Do you allow pets?

    Unfortunately, we do not allow pets.

  • Are there laundry facilities?

    Yes. All our building has a laundry facility inside the building.
